Ureteric calculus with hydroureteronephrosis can be managed medical expulsive therapy for 2 weeks when there is no fever and pyelonephritis.
But after 2 weeks if the stone location is still the same, then surgical procedure is needed.
That is ursl which is an endoscopic procedure.
