Lizol causes skin allergies to severe dermatitis in dogs , because dogs lye down on their belly on the floor . Of course you can use bandage if God forbid your dog scratches himself or get hurt. Now coming to your dog getting mild fever after vaccination, is it normal ? Yes and No . Depends on quality of vaccines . I have been using zoetis vanguard 5CVL4 vaccine , rarely do i encounter such issues to the dogs i vaccinate . There are several other brands of vaccines in market which though cost less but causes pain , illnes even death to dogs . Which vaccine did your vet injected ?

Yes. A little nausea and fever is ok after vaccination. Just an immune response. Betadine ointment may be used. Or simply clean with betadine solution twice daily. You can use plain water to mop your floors. Avoid Lyzol as it may cause allergic reactions in certain pets.

Yes, puppies do get fever after vaccination some times..it's completely fine..For Minor injuries you can apply either Staphban ointment or calendula cream.. Opt for Natural floor cleaners ,if they are sensitive regular floor cleaners can cause skin rashes and allergic reactions.
