If it is with fever then viral likely. If the child is having a phase inbetween that she is all well and then this problems restart again then viral again. Allergic if the child has continuous runny nose and was present last year also. Children have started school after 2.5 year so they might get repeated viral infection and some children are more prone then others. Few measures: -Proper hydration. While playing they forget water -Hand washing with soap water 3 to 4 times a day -Flu vaccination (if possible in may every year) -Respiratory hygiene should be taught Avoid cold water, ice cream, biscuits, chocolate and wafers

it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.

Last 4-5 months has been difficult for school going kids as they have recurrent cold and coughs. Is your daughter allergic to any food? Is she having packaged food? Has she lost weight, how is her appetite, activity levels? For all this you need to consult her paediatrician or take a second opinion physically
