No problemuntil he has some sympto.s and then could be discussed. If he has an active lifestyle, and walks/exercises daily then there is no problem. If he has some co morbidities, like diabetes/heart disease/hypertension any other, then it is better to avoid the yolk(yellow) of the egg.
I'd advise to tale plenty of wtaer and fibre diet alongwith it yo avoid constipation which is very common in elderlies.
