Hi, my 6.6 yrs old boy got slipped on the construction road and got scratches in the left leg.
should I give him Tetnes injection or that is fine if I don't give.

If he has received DPT booster at 5yrs of age according to the NATIONAL IMMUNISATION SCHEDULE, there is no need further vaccination.
However, if he hasnt, Tetanus toxoid should be administered within 48 hrs of any injury, ideally.
Health Tips
Tetatus bacteria has nothing to do with rust( iron). It is present almost everywhere including soil. So, TT is indicated is all injuries, not only with ones related with rust.
