5 month baby boy has been passed away
5 month baby boy passed away, we could not find out the exact reason. He has been admitted in hospital for continuous crying. Tests( X-ray, Scan, blood) were done and they told normal. We suspect about the syrups given to him. Tonoferon is the syrup given to him for the last 2 weeks. Is that could be the reason for incident? please give suggestion

I am sorry for your loss. Tonoferon is simply an iron syrup with the commonest side effect of gastritis. It might not be the cause of the incidence. Excessive crying in this age group has a very large spectrum of possibilities and sometimes its not possible to always point to the exact problem.
