My daughter (30 months) is suffering from fever (102 to 103.5) since last Wednesday with huge cough. Next day we visited to our pediatrician. He told that she is suffering from viral fever .After waiting for 3 days, Doctor has prescribed antibiotic ( Azithral 200 , once daily). I started it from Saturday. Even after giving my child two days of antibiotic, fever is not decreasing. She says that she is having pain in her ear (with fever (100.5- 101.5) & cough ).now what should we do ?please help ? What is the reason ?

Pain in ear in child is very common phenomenon it is most often due to infection from nose and throat spreading to ear, with antibiotics it subsides in most of the patients
