3 week old baby chokes and coughs

Hi doctor From past few days, My 3 week old baby boy started choking and then coughing sometimes after breastfeeding .. from past 2 3 days he spits up milk too once or twice a day, when we try to burp him.. also he burps very less after feeds.. why is it happening?

Hi. Choking could be due to gulping of excess milk . Burp or hold the baby in the erect position for 15-20 min after feed to reduce vomiting .
