2nd opinion on urinary symptoms
Symptoms: 10+ years of low urine flow and not fully emptying bladder.
Age: 43
History: kidney stones in '98-99. Cystoscopy performed - nothing found.
Currently, trying to fix the problems. Had prostate exam. Slightly large, but not concerned. Prescribed flomax 0.4mg 1x/day on 12/5. No change in symptoms. Had 2 urine cultures - clean. Blood test clean for cancer.
Diagnosis: scar tissue in urethra from cystoscopy 20 years ago, causing symptoms. Suggests surgery to remove scar. Seek 2nd opinion.
