24/7 mild headache
Hi Dr. I have a mild but continues 24 hr headache from last 5 days. Area is mostly forehead or whole head and jaw lines also. Due to this it's difficult fall asleep. During this I find myself sensitive to light and sound also. Eyes also get little red sometimes and I also feel heat inside my nostril sometimes while breathing. I had disprin thrice. But relief lasts jus for few hrs. Pls suggest.

Hi there...there are different types of headache like migraine, tension type, cluster headache, due to sinusitis, visual disturbance. The migraine headache is usually unilateral and associated with visual disturbance, nausea, vomiting. There are many triggering factors for migraine like strong smells, bright light, emotional stress, insomnia. keep account of the triggering factors and try to avoid them. When you get a headache go into a dark room and rest. You can also consult a general physician or neurologist for further evaluation.

Well it looks like Migraine . You will have to answer few more questions. Do you have any pain at CERVICAL region ? Any numbness in your hands ? Any numbness in your legs ? Do you feel like vomiting ? Please answer all these to continue further with your treatment
