Babies are smarter than what we think. My understanding from the information you have given is that the baby is happy to breastfeed at night and as you are working this is what you wanted. The issue is we want babies to behave in a defined way which we have defined. This doesn't happen usually because they are an individual in themselves. So my suggestion to you will be to stop being anxious about this behaviour of your baby because this is completely normal for age as suggested by other doctors in the post.
Next Steps
You can opt for a video consultation and we can discuss the behaviour changes at this age in detail. This will ease out your anxiety and will be helpful in future as well.
