Hi doctor, yesterday my son got 16th month vaccinated.his thigh where they gave injection got swollen and hard nd turned red.crying with pain . Should we do anything or leave it?

Apply cold Sponge ,ice , Pain and swelling wil subside.If it is very painful use paracetmol 125mg /5ml of syrup 1tsf twice or thrice depending upon severity of pain. take care of hygiene, wash hands very often. Don't forget other .Immunization. support him emotionally.
