  4. 10th week vaccine. For. please advise!

We have given below vaccine in 6th week Prevenar 13 Hexaxim Rotasure And now for 10th week doctor said to repeat the same but doctor in my hometown they says instead of Hexaxim it should be Pentaxim. Now I am worried which one to go for.. please advise

Hiiii.... Dont worry...there is nothing like it should be pentaxim... You can give hexaxim or pentaxim based on your consultant.. Hexaxim will contain extra hepatitis b vaccine... You can give hexaxim on 6,10,14 weeks... Or else you can give hexaxim on 6th week, pentaxim on 10th nd 14th week + hepatitis b vaccine in 6th month... Both are acceptable...

10th week vaccine is the same as 6th week Hexaxim is a combination of DPT-HIB-IPV-HEP B Better go for that in addition to Prevanar and Rotasure
