[Rabies] Is there a chance I'm infected?
I've been bitten by a puppy 5+ years ago from today and as far as I can remember the puppy died weeks later. I did not receive medical attention that time. Although I washed the wound thoroughly with soap and bled it to sort of "eject" the rabies. How will I know if I'm infected by rabies even after all those years? I read that the incubation period is variable and can range from days to years. More that 5 years have passed. Should I still get an anti-rabies or vaccine?
