My Son was not responding to us and zero communication, he was 3 years old and we felt that something is not right., we came to know that he’s autistic and needed help. I came to know from one of my neighbors who suggested Dr. Soumya, I was able to get the appointment quickly and my Son was evaluated for speech delay and hyper Active and was suggested for speech and occupational Therapy. The very next day we had to take him for his speech and OT classes. We were given training on how to handle the child and very important was the instructions that needed to be followed as part of the home program. We continued working on his development every day... We did not see changes immediately however during the course of 3 months, I noticed a dramatic change in my Son.... his listening and comprehensive skills were good... he slowly started responding with actions for his needs. With a lot of guidance and help from Dr. Soumya, my Son said his first word when he was 4 years old and it was a joy to us because we haven’t heard him speaking for the past 4 years. From there on it was no turning back... There is a meeting that occurs every month with the parent and therapist about the improvement and development of the child.... Every month there are goals that is discussed and reviewed... Today my son is 8 years old.... his speech has improved and his hyper active is controlled. He continues to go for his therapy classes after his school as I am fully satisfied with the way the he has improved during the course of time. I will strongly recommend parents who need help to contact Dr. Soumya. Being at the right place at the right time has helped my Son progress to what he is today and I’m thankful to Dr. Soumya and Team for all the dedication and commitment they have put during all these years to help parents understand their children and bring happiness and smiles to the family again.

Its very good place for speech and occupational therapy in avadi. ******* **** ********* ** **** I visited mam and she guided well through each and every phase of my child's development. Good thing here is mam reviews our child improvement in frequent intervals (2 to 3 months) which will give an oversight like which area need to focus and which area child has improved. From bottom of my heart ,I am thankful to mam and entire team for their continuous effort to all children over there.

I find Soumya ma'am as an apt example of professionalism tinted with friendly approach. And I really mean it. She listens to the concerned parents with utmost patience and positive attitude and renders help in the form of set instructions to be followed in order to accelerate the process of the therepy that the child is undergoing.

My daughter name is joanna. She is 5 years old. She is having sensory issues as well as speech delay. So I put my child in let's speak special education school. She improve a lot. Sowmya understands the need of the kid and provides them right inputs. I have seen a drastic improvement in my kid ability.. She also provides a dedicated time slot to each kid. For children with special needs the solutions are not standard when it comes to speech. But lot of therapist give a standard approach, for different kind of issues that’s hindering speech.

Sowmya is a person who is working to understand the cause, before getting to the solution and fixing the cause and other issues which are forming the base for the child to get the fullest of the therapist efforts.
