“I just want to say “God Bless You”! It has been 2 years now that I have been suffering from crippling sciatica and back pain. I have been to 3 osteopaths, 3 physios, 1 chiropractor and one consultant radiologist who gave me three sets of local epidural injections under x-ray control. In addition I saw a my facial release specialist. I paid out-of-pocket for all and it cost me several thousand pounds. All were well-meaning people but none managed to diagnose nor cure my pain. I received temporary relief because all focused on symptoms and not the cause.

You DIAGNOSED me and then set about curing the cause. Your examination was the most thorough I have received and I was grateful for a diagnosis - finally.

2 months on, I am 90% there - not bad given how chronic my situation was. Most importantly, the progress is sustained which means we (sorry, you) have gotten to the cause…

Several times I have been in tears due to my inability to be properly functional. It is remarkable how chronic pain can affect one psychologically. I used to be really miserable by 5/6 pm because by then the pain was at its worse and I was not able to move much nor stand.

That is not the case anymore (thank God) and I notice how much more energy and positive attitude I have at the end of the day vs fatigue and despondency.

Dr.Poongodi designed a personalized treatment plan that included a series of physiotherapy sessions including Electrotherapy and stretching exercises . She also advised me to continue these exercises at home for just 30 minutes a day to accelerate my recovery. Throughout the treatment, she was incredibly patient, gentle, and professional, ensuring that I felt comfortable every step of the way.

First she Listens to you very much, all about your Problems, and Pains. She patiently listens to you & you can explain every single detail of

how the pain started to affect you(this is the first quality I believe a doctor should have to treat you efficiently & effectively)

She is very sincere & dedicated in her work, which shows up in the treatment too.

She is very well versed with various kinds of treatments including IFT, SWD, Accidental-Injuries, Traction and Post Surgery Rehabilitation etc.

I went to her for my own treatment of my Neck & Back pain as well as Posture-related corrections through Posture corrective Exercises, as advised by my Orthopaedic Surgeon.

The way she treats is also very different. first she takes us into confidence & patiently explains all the prerequisites, Do's & Dont's, terms & processes. I was fearful about Neck, Back pain & Spondylitis.

But to my surprise, I got much benefitted from her treatment in terms of confidence & pain relief too.
