Dr. Aaditya Malathy, OT, MS (USA), is the Founder and Head Occupational Therapist at DARC – Dr. Aaditya’s Rehab Centre in Chennai.He primarily works with children experiencing autism, speech and communication difficulties, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, attention difficulties, and behavioral concerns.Dr. Aaditya’s approach focuses on understanding the child beyond the diagnosis. He looks at the underlying developmental foundations—including sensory processing, regulation, movement, motor planning, reflexes, attention, imitation, and communication readiness—to understand where the child may be struggling.At DARC, he works alongside a multidisciplinary team integrating Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, movement and regulation activities, reflex-based work, parent guidance, and selected supportive technologies such as photobiomodulation.His philosophy is simple: every child is different. Instead of following exactly the same program for every child, DARC aims to understand the individual child, identify their priorities, and build a personalised therapy direction around them.Most importantly, Dr. Aaditya wants parents to understand not only what their child is struggling with, but also what they can do next.

*** ******* ** *** **** ************ ********* * **** **** **** My daughter was exactly 3 years when we started therapy. Now she is 3.3. She had less eye contact, she was not able to communicate with us. Also lacking in doing the physical exercises like riding tricycle, throwing balls etc..
Thanks to Dr. Aaditya he made us understand that these things are happening because her muscles like arms, elbows and joints are not enough strong. Which causes her less speech. He has started his exercises session like wheel barrow walking, Swings, balance board etc and imposed us to do the home program and also suggested diet program which could follow up to some extent..
Even though we are not tamil belongs to different state language is a big barrier in his training but he made my girl so much comfortable in English that my daughter has started communication in English now and her understanding level gradually increased. She is able to speak and communicate in English. Her eye contact is developed and she is responding to do physical exercises like riding bicycle, playing in balls also now her understanding level is increased. Speech is improved increased in just 16 sessions .

My son has been taking therapy from Dr. Aaditya sir, for almost 9 months. We are seeing good changes in his speech, cognition, behavior and understanding level. He has progressed very well in all aspects. Dr. is very reachable for any doubts related to kids and pay extra attention when needed, which is really helpful for parents. I have also heard positive feedback from other parents after taking therapy from this center. They provide therapy for Autism condition, ADHD, Speech and other issues. Over the years I have been to many therapy centers for Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy for my child who was not able to communicate with us, I haven’t seen any improvements with him. One of my friend referred me Dr. Aaditya, after getting consulting with sir, I understood my child’s problem which I never understood from previous therapists.
Dr. Aaditya is the best Occupational Therapist I have met till now, my child’s speech, eye contact and understanding level has improved very much. His hyperactivity, self injurious behavior has reduced after taking only 10 therapy sessions.
