Dr. Aaditya Malathy, OT, MS (USA), is the Founder and Head Occupational Therapist at DARC – Dr. Aaditya’s Rehab Centre in Chennai.He primarily works with children experiencing autism, speech and communication difficulties, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, attention difficulties, and behavioral concerns.Dr. Aaditya’s approach focuses on understanding the child beyond the diagnosis. He looks at the underlying developmental foundations—including sensory processing, regulation, movement, motor planning, reflexes, attention, imitation, and communication readiness—to understand where the child may be struggling.At DARC, he works alongside a multidisciplinary team integrating Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, movement and regulation activities, reflex-based work, parent guidance, and selected supportive technologies such as photobiomodulation.His philosophy is simple: every child is different. Instead of following exactly the same program for every child, DARC aims to understand the individual child, identify their priorities, and build a personalised therapy direction around them.Most importantly, Dr. Aaditya wants parents to understand not only what their child is struggling with, but also what they can do next.
