My Thyroid Journey and Heartfelt Thanks to My Doctors

Hi, I'm Jasmin from Bangalore. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with three nodules in my thyroid gland. However, over the past month, I started experiencing increased pain and swelling. Upon further diagnosis, a fourth nodule was found, and both an FNAC and CT scan confirmed that the size had grown significantly.

I consulted Dr. Leelavathi Kandaswamy, an endocrinologist at Apollo OMR, Perungudi. She was incredibly polite, kind, and supportive throughout the consultation. She then referred me to Dr. Venkat karthikeyan C, an ENT specialist at Everhealth Clinic (behind Apollo OMR, Perungudi). I had read that he is listed among the top 10 doctors in India—and he truly lived up to that reputation.

Before meeting him, I prayed to Allah to bless me with a good doctor, and I believe my prayers were answered. Doctor Venkata Karthikeyan C has successfully performed my AV malformation (vascular tumor) on Parotid gland robotic surgery with facial nerve monitoring on 1st April, 2022 at Apollo Hospital, Chennai. ** ** *** *** **. Never seen such a humble, down to earth, polite and extremely hard working Doctor who is best in his work. Undoubtedly he is the best ENT surgeon. I was suffering from extreme head and neck pain since 2 months..the thing was diagnosed.. Visited numerous doctors in Kolkata.. Everyone said surgery is the only option but no one wants to do it.. Then we found Dr. Venkat, consulted him and visited him at Chennai, within one week my operation was done and within one week of operation I was able to come back to my normal life without any kind of restrictions. I underwent a 6 h long surgery and no one can even understand from outside that any surgery happened. Doctor and his entire team was excellent who gave me a week long post operative check up and treatment with utmost care. My name is Suhail, I reside in Chennai. I'm 28

I went for sneezing & allergic condition in my nose which had been an ongoing issue for almost an year.

I had a Deviated Nasal Septum but it did not create any issues.

Usually DNS creates breathing issues but for me God's grace i never had such issue.

All I had was continuos sneezing as soon as I get up & allergic symptoms.

The doctor suggested me Septoplasty surgery. ******* ******** *** ******** i went blindly for the surgery.

I'm mentally so depressed & exhausted beacause of this.

I met this doctor for my son's migraine problem. He always appeared to be in a hurry. We did all the tests he had ordered, but upon presenting them to him, he simply asked us to consult a Neurologist and then come back.

He did not provide any reassurance, any possible diagnoses, or even some temporary medicine for my son's migraines. All he gave was some medicine for the dizziness caused by the migraines.

I have no plans of going back to him.

For thyroid issues, we consulted a couple of doctors, and finally, Dr. Leelavathy Kandaswamy referred us to Dr. Venkata Karthikeyan. He explained the problem clearly and politely, which gave me confidence in proceeding with the surgery. Once the surgery is done, I will provide further feedback.

Dr. Venkatakarthikeyan was very professional in his analysis of my blocked left ear/pain. No nonsense, straight to the analysis. Doctor has given nasal drops & pills to resolve the problem and medication already taking effect - I do feel that ear blockage has reduced, can hear better.

Smiling face and tender towards patients and very responsive . Handling patients with his smartness..
