Dr. Vaishnavi Prabhakar BDS, MDS is an American Board-Certified Orofacial pain, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, and Dental Sleep Medicine Specialist with more than 15 years of experience. She is one of the first few specialists in India and Asia to receive the Diplomate Stature from the American Board of Orofacial Pain, ABOP. Dr. Vaishnavi completed her Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics, Crown, and Bridge, and Oral Implantology from SRM University, Chennai. She is one of the first to receive the Fellowship in temporomandibular joint disorder, orofacial pain, and dental sleep medicine from Roseman University, USA. In 2019, she received her Mastership degree in Orofacial pain from Roseman University, USA. She is a leading expert in diagnosing and managing facial pain, temporomandibular joint disorder, headaches, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and snoring. She has lectured at various universities and conferences on orofacial pain. She also practices general dentistry along with cosmetic dentistry specializing in dental veneers and smile designing.
