My name is Muthu Meenatchi, and I want to share my positive experience with the medical care I received at Miot Hospital, particularly under the attentive supervision of Nephrologist Dr. Yeswanth Raj. I initially sought medical attention due to platelet deficiency, vomiting, and diarrhea, which were partially addressed at another hospital. However, persistent heavy dizziness prompted me to seek further treatment at Miot Hospital.

Upon arrival, the medical team at Miot Hospital promptly identified a kidney issue within half a day. My creatinine level was alarmingly high at 7.6, and Dr. Yeswanth Raj took charge of my care. Under his dedicated care, I experienced a significant improvement in my condition. Within just six days of admission, my creatinine level dropped from 7.6 to 3.2. The positive progress continued through outpatient care, bringing my creatinine level down further to 0.8.

Dr T. Yashwanth Raj - a real godsend for us. With leg swelling and diagnosis still unknown for my father, we went and met him. Did a Kidney Biopsy the other day and he took care of my father in each and every move. He explained each and every details like the Protein Creatinine ratio, Albumin and its significance as like detailing in lay man terms to us and what needs to be done next, including the Diet, the medicines after checking on with minute details for every visit we made. We got to know my father had Secondary Membranous Nephropathy and the Root cause that the doctor identified and explained us really made us very very happy as the attention, focus, the way he explained and the next steps were awesome as he told he is already on the recovery path :-) and he is like our family member. Also, my father used to do some research on the regular lab tests we used to do and used to get tensed with the numbers with the tests result. But, doctor always used to tell that the reports are for him to interpret and we are not supposed to interpret and conclude, as he used to tell those were normal and only a doc can understand. and alleviate our unwanted fears :-) Always listens very attentively and actively to all our doubts, clarifies them with so much patience and we always feel very excited if it was time to meet the doctor!! We had a very positive experience in visiting Dr. Yashwanth. I am writing this feedback based on our visits to the doctor during the treatment of my father who has suffered from multiple complications including protein and sodium deficiency. Thanks to the care and effort of a team of doctors in MIOT, Chennai, my father's health condition has improved gradually. We have visited Dr. Yashwanth, a couple of times for consultation. Every time, he takes time to go through the reports for analyzing each value carefully. He studies and understands the patient's mental hesitations and physical problems. Then discusses in detail about the diagnosis and the treatment options. He lets us know options in medication, which and why the particular medication is suitable, before prescribing it. Apart from giving medications, he interacts with the patients and attenders to advise and suggest about the changes needed in the mindset and lifestyle of a person to lead a healthy and better life. My father who generally hesitates to discuss with doctors, opens up and talks with Dr. Yashwanth easily and now slowly realizes the changes needed in his lifestyle to achieve better health. A humble and expert doctor's treatment and talks are much required for speedy recovery, as it is very hard to go through a sickness. Dr. Yashwanth culminates trust with the patient and their family that lightens the burden of the treatment time. His staff members are also helpful and considerate. **** ****** ****** ** ********** ********* ** ****** *********** ** ********* *** ***** *** ********** **** * **** **** ** *** ******************** ** ** *** **** ****** ******* ** ******* *** **** *********** *** ****** * ******** ** ******* **** *** **** *****I had visited Dr. yashwanth Raj for Checking if Swelling of Legs and Severe Itching is because of Kidney Failure.He made me comfortable after going through the blood and urine report, where mictoalbumineria of 200 above bothered me. with excellent explanation and renal tests he made sure my anxiety and fear comes down.Diagnosing the issue is with Liver, and wrong suggestions by different specialists to  go on a Low sodium 2 Litre diet , which is a check point for me and it damaged my kidneys in 3 days after.Panicked and went back to Yashwanth Raj again and this time he explained more about the kidney functions and tablets he has prescribed as well. I was having acute renal failure with 2 L low sodium diet, and he asked me to take 3-4 litres of water and 3-6 gms if salt.with the measurement spoons he has shown I got a clear picture of salt intake I should have per day.with no water restrictions, my creatinine which went up to 1.8 came back to 0.9, thanks to the BEST Kidney Advice provided by Dr. Yashwanth Raj.Undoubtedly Best Kidney Specialist in Chennai and best suggestions and Advice i continue to receive from him till date 

My mother was admitted to MIOT ICU with initial diagnosis as acute pulmonary edema. During the elongated course of her stay in the hospital Dr. Yashwanth Raj attended to her as a nephrologist consultant as my mother had a lot of interrelated health issues including Acute Kidney disease with accelerated hypertension. He spoke with me during the early stages of investigation and helped explain various reasons that could cause sudden hypertension in layman's terms including both primary and secondary causes which really helped me calm down and understand my mother's health situation. He also clearly articulated the interpretation of her blood test results during our first review after discharge and suggested slight alterations in the course of BP medication to bring it down and also prescribed further tests to evaluate the impact of the altered medication. He voluntarily checked on patient's well being and also provided guidance on do's and dont's with respect to diet. He is a patient's doctor and puts the effort to listen to patients description of their health issues and provides appropriate guidance which provides patients hope and feel better mentally.

Doctor was able to understand the patient’s issues, approach and next steps were clearly explained, especially well explained what the probability of the current stage/condition are and how we will procced to diagonalize, the communication and confidence given to patient was extremely good. We can see gradually patient getting improvement from the condition he was when we approach the doctor and got admitted. We were extremely happy when we got discharged and further routine follow-up and direction for lab testing and monitoring were clearly explained.
