Dr T. Yashwanth Raj - a real godsend for us. With leg swelling and diagnosis still unknown for my father, we went and met him. Did a Kidney Biopsy the other day and he took care of my father in each and every move. He explained each and every details like the Protein Creatinine ratio, Albumin and its significance as like detailing in lay man terms to us and what needs to be done next, including the Diet, the medicines after checking on with minute details for every visit we made. We got to know my father had Secondary Membranous Nephropathy and the Root cause that the doctor identified and explained us really made us very very happy as the attention, focus, the way he explained and the next steps were awesome as he told he is already on the recovery path :-) and he is like our family member. Also, my father used to do some research on the regular lab tests we used to do and used to get tensed with the numbers with the tests result. We had a very positive experience in visiting Dr. Yashwanth. I am writing this feedback based on our visits to the doctor during the treatment of my father who has suffered from multiple complications including protein and sodium deficiency. Thanks to the care and effort of a team of doctors in MIOT, Chennai, my father's health condition has improved gradually. We have visited Dr. Yashwanth, a couple of times for consultation. Every time, he takes time to go through the reports for analyzing each value carefully. He studies and understands the patient's mental hesitations and physical problems. Then discusses in detail about the diagnosis and the treatment options. He lets us know options in medication, which and why the particular medication is suitable, before prescribing it. Apart from giving medications, he interacts with the patients and attenders to advise and suggest about the changes needed in the mindset and lifestyle of a person to lead a healthy and better life.
