Hi all...Dr. Sajai is a wonderful dermatologist our family came across in recent times. I had booked an appointment with Dr. Sajai to consult regarding a penile lesion for my father-in-law. After a careful examination, he diagnosed my father-in-law of a dermatologic condition, and started an effective treatment regime for the same. What differentiates Dr. Sajai from many of the other doctors is his patience in explaining each and every treatment modality in complete detail for the welfare of the patients. He also uses diagrams to explain where needed so that patients can clearly visualize the problem/solution. He takes all these extra efforts to ensure that each of his patients will achieve maximum results from a given treatment option. He also devotes a special time to answer all your questions during consultations, and has never rushed our appointment time because another patient may be waiting. Where required, Dr. Sajai has never hesitated to consult with other specialist doctors so that due justice is done to the health of the patient. This happened with our case, where due to unsatisfactory progress with his treatment option, he proactively suspected another disease condition for my father-in-law, and sought opinion from a general surgeon regarding a biopsy assessment. Thanks to his proactiveness, the biopsy revealed a key finding for my father-in-law at a very very early time! Now, our whole family is thankful to him for his shrewd medical judgement, and we would like to continue receiving his expertise for the welfare of my father-in-law. Pathetic experience. I was looking for a good dermatologist to treat the pigmentation in my hands and after looking at the reviews I went to Dr. Sajai Varghese at Apollo Med hospitals. At the very first consultation I was made to undergo a punch biopsy. Doctor gave ***** information on how the biopsy will happen and how big a scar it’ll leave on my hands. For this I was charged a hefty amount which includes 9000 just for his consultation (which was only to tell me that I should get a biopsy). After a week I got the biopsy results just to reveal that I had severe sun tan. **** ******** **** ****** ***** *** ** *** ****** *** ******* * *** **** ** *** * ****** ***** **** * *** *** ****** ******* **** ** ** **** ***** has now become an additional concern in my hands apart from the pigmentation issues that I’m already facing. Initially he promised that 9000 is all the consultation fee I would have to pay during the course of this treatment but every time when I went back to ask why none of his treatment has worked for me he charged another 1500 for every visit when the cause of the visit in itself was to question *** * *** ********* *** **** **** ** *********** ** ********* ******* ** ****** ***** ******* *** ********* ***** ***** *** ******* ***** ** **********

I had a skin problem in my lower leg for 10+ years. I had visited several doctors across Chennai and all of them either didn't diagnose it or said it is a life long thing and has to be kept under control using drugs. Even the drugs didn't give relief. They just kept names for the condition - and it only depressed me more and more. After a few years, I had given up on treating it. It would randomly flare up and go down by itself.

A few months back, my wife randomly found Dr. Sajai online and insisted we visit him for one time to try our luck. I gave up after some resistance.
