In the past 13 years, he has performed over 4500 keyhole surgeries, 1100 joint replacements and 3000 trauma surgeries affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.Dr Ram Chidambaram is an elected member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS). He was elected President of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of India in 2017. He was awarded the presidential gold medal from Dr Peter Brownson (President, BESS), for services rendered to upper limb surgery and for his role in making the field more relevant in mainstream Indian orthopaedics.

i am a police officer. I was travelling in bike suddenly bike got punctured and then i parked my vehicle to see . In a fraction of second like a night mare . One vehicle hit me hard. I could not bear the pain . i was diagnosed with some malunited fracture and stiffness of elbow. I was stunned. I managed to go back home and then i went to my native person they applied slab but unfortunately it dint work for me . And i came to Dr Ram Chidambaram with one of my senior officer . he explained my problem in detail. he tole me he will do metal work removal and arthrolysis of elbow. He spoke to him and today my hand is all fine i am able to move my hand freely . I am very much relaxed my hand movement is very good i had lost all my hopes of getting back to normal. Sometimes like a blessing we get people like Dr Ram Chidambaram who gave back my life now i am only given fit for light duties hopefully i start my work back.Thanks to the Miot Hopsital and Dr Ram Chidambaram for both Moral support and Treatment. I like him because he sees us like a human being and not just like patient he spends time for us . Make some jokes . Make my mind free . and then tell me the problem and treatment. He is a great man and a great doctor too thanks doctor Ram . ....!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to move my hand 100 %

I got giddiness and fell down on the road consulted Dr Ramchidambaram . He said he will do the procedure called Shoulder arthrosciopy, Arthroscopic Subacromial and ACJ Decompression Rotator Cuff repair . I took all the reports and went to m Family physician He told I can go ahead for the surgery also I got fully confident talking to the hief doctor . I underwent surgery,. I did pre op fitness ECG /echo /chest xray then I did surgery and today I am v happy don't have much of ain I can do exercise freely I am very very happy . I can drive long . I have no problem . Thankyou doctor thankyou vv much. I wil never forget ur favour.
