Dr. R. P. Shanmugam a pioneer in the field of Gastroenterology has more than 5decades of experience in providing quality health care. He is the first certifiedgastroenterologist of the India. He also performed the first ever Liver transplantin the country at Stanley Medical College way back in 1996. A high achiever, Prof. Shanmugam who has a passion and genuine interest in serving people founded RPS HOSPITALS, Korattur, Chennai. His dream is to provide quality healthcare to people irrespective of the socio economic status culminated in RPS HOSPITALS.
