Dr. R. G. Praveen

Dr Praveen Govardhan , Co-Director of Vasanthi Orthopaedic Hospital and Consultant trauma and Joint replacement Surgeon, has followed his esteemed fathers footsteps into the line of Orthopaedics. Apart from his completion of his Masters in Orthopaedics and Diplomate of National board in Orthopaedics, Dr Praveen has also attained special skills, knowledge and training from the prestigious Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Centre, USA. He further went on to fine tune his skills in Computer Navigation and Revision Joint replacement Surgery at Asklepios Replacement centre , Germany. Besides Joint replacement, he is an expert at dealing with complex fracture management and periarticular fracture management. He has presented over 10 podium presentations in National and International conferences including SICOT, IOA and TNOA and has 4 publications in indexed Journals. Furthermore, Dr Praveen always displays amicable manners and politely explains the problems to the patients and make them understand in simple terms.
