Dr Shankari is by far the most apt psychologist I've found for myself. I actually live in Singapore and I was usually never satisfied with the services provided here as sessions were usually short and i couldn't see any significant difference in me with every coming session. Therefore, on this very website, i came across Dr Shankari's profile and decided to ask her if she would take sessions through Skype and wala! Here i am not regretting my decision a single bit! I don't think I've come across any therapist like her because she is not one who gives short term remedies and techniques (which never worked for me mostly). She in fact goes to the root of the problem and changes your very thoughts and doesn't leave you without ending on a very motivating and positive note. This said, i highly recommend her to anyone who lives in Chennai or even overseas. ANYONE really. I take sessions through skype and if you are doubtful about the effectiveness of online session instead of live ones, there isnt any difference in my opinion. They are just as great! :) All the best, you are in the safest of hands! :D

I have known Dr.Shankari since 2017 and have been visiting her for counselling and stress management. She has helped me understand the core of my issue and guided me with solutions to overcome it. She is very receptive in understanding the issue and gives the comfort to be transparent with her.The best thing I like about her treatment is that she understands the cause of the issue and focusses in addressing the issue permanently. Her treatment and guidance is not only helpful in overcoming the issue for which I consult her for treatment but also helps me to apply her guidance in different aspects of my life. She is very friendly and gives me the comfort to open up and speak to her. Thank you Dr for all the support you have been providing to me and your guidance is really helping me overcome so many issues that I have been experiencing and helps me shape myself as a better individual.

I would strongly recommend dr.shankari mandiram. She made my life wonderful.. I went to her for treatment by 2018. i was searching my inner self where I was lost.. she helped me to find me out she gave a great support in correcting myself with confidence. I gained self confidence self esteem and self love after very few sessions i realised myself. I took psychology as my career too and now I completed my MSc in psychology. Thank you dear doctor. Its all because of the hope and care you gave.

This was a poor experience. Please don't be misled by the reviews.

She runs a practice from her home and is professional to look at. However, as soon as the session started, when I pointed out she interrupted me, she was offended and launched into a long defense. After I accepted the defense and moved on (I wasn't paying for her therapy!) she got offended again and shamed and guilted me saying I wasn't opening up and that she had never been told that she interrupts people before. She then asked me to leave. I left within 5 minutes of reaching there. I didn't pay her.

She is a very friendly and kind doctor. I felt very comfortable with her right from I met her and it was very easy to open up to her about my problems, my depression. She is a very good listener and very patient. She not only listens but also remembers everything you tell her. I've been seeing her for 3 sessions and she has remembered very vividly the things that I had mentioned in the first session.Sh has been very helpful and I've fairly changed for the better since I started seeing her. I'm more at peace with myself and others.

Ms. Mandiram is a ray of bright, bright light. I have come to see so much good in me after having a couple of sessions with her, good that existed always but I had failed to see. I now know what my needs are; needs from people, from situations and from myself. I feel liberated, freed of so much unnecessary clutter. She is forthright and neatly professional with lots of human touch. A wonderful listener, her sheer silence can be calming. This silence oftentimes guides me into realizing what wasn't being said. Ms. Mandiram is honest, if I am wrong I am wrong. There's no blanketing anything.

Her consultation room is well kept, free of any clutter and dimly lit, giving it a soothing atmosphere.

If you decide to see a therapist, look no futher. She will be that ray of bright light in your lives too.

Having been to Dr.Shankari multiples times *** **** **** ** *** ***** *** ** *** **** ********* I have ever been to, Right from the ambience to her voice, everything is therapeutic. She has an absolute no nonsense approach and extremely clear on directing and driving towards the right path. Writing a feedback wouldn't do justice to what she does but can say that she's outstanding at what she does. She's highly recommended!!!

She is an excellent, serene personality. A friendly person with whom we felt very comfortable. I went to her for my 17 year old daughter. There were sudden changes in her behaviour which was creating fraustraing environment at home. She was also unable to control her irritation with everything and every one. After the single session with Ms Shankari we are so relieved and felt that we are at the right place. After listening to my daughter’s problem she explained the issue in details and step by step advises given in nice caring gesture. She guided and counseled my daughter so pleasantly that we are very satisfied and happy. Thanks Ms Shankari for your wonderful support...!

The best part about the doctor is that she instantly diagnose the root cause of the problem. She gives undivided attention and her suggestions are practical as well as helpful. I am feeling very positive about my recovery and would suggest others not to delay seeking any professional help if they are feeling so. With Dr. Shankari, one session is enough to make to understand how effective she can be. Definitely Few sessions are required for the healing but atleast after one session you start feeling hopeful.
