Ms. Mullai

Ms Mullai Venkatesan is a Consultant Psychologist and Psychotherapist. She has completed her M.Phil in Students Counselling from the University of Madras, also Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education. She has undergone training in various Psychological Therapy programs like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Transactional Analysis (101), from renowned Institutions like NIMHANS Bangalore, NIPPED; Learning Disability from Madras Dyslexic.Association and has sound knowledge in Psychological assessments such as Bayley assessment for Toddlers, etc. She takes care of the Counselling, conducts orientation programmes and training programmes on various topics such as Emotional Intelligence, overcoming exam anxiety, study skills, Healthy Relationship etc, for students of various schools and colleges. Mrs Mullai conducts Awareness Program on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’ for school students and Time Management, Stress Management, and Ways to face exams with confidence, Memory Techniques, Study Skills for the Class Tenth and Twelfth Students (Students with a Learning disability as well as of Mainstream). Also, she is specialist in dealing children with Behavioural Problem, slow learners, Lack of Concentration etc. She delivers a Motivational speech to various colleges, few are Tagore Engineering College, Anna University (MIT Campus) etc. Conducts Summer workshop for school students on Topics ”Maths Made Easy”, “ Sweet Science ”, to get rid of Maths Phobia and understand the basic concept of science. To her credits, she has participated in many workshops, presented papers in conferences and published psychological papers in reputed Journals.
