Madhumalar Jayavel holds a Master’s degree in nutrition. She is a Qualified Nutritionist who specializes in sports nutrition. She is currently working with some of the upcoming National & International level Swimmers, Cricketers, Badminton and Skating Players. She was awarded a gold medal in Bharathiar University for securing the highest CGPA during her bachelors degree. According to her, your body and what it truly needs is far more important than the quantity and quality of the food you choose to eat. Instead of categorising food into good and bad, she advocates for a balanced diet that keeps you healthy and allows you to eat the food you like. Her primary areas of expertise are nutritional education, nutrition for prevention and management of chronic cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. She actively works to spread awareness among the general public about nutrition guidelines.She believes that irrespective of culinary tastes, food can always be molded to be healthier.
