Dr. M S Vidyasagar

Dr. M S Vidyasagar graduated from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, and done post-graduation MD in Radiotherapy from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in the year 1980. Subsequently, he joined as an Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology. He retired after serving for 11 years as the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, a premier Cancer Institute serving the entire South West Coast of India from Kerala, Karnataka up to Goa. Not only was he responsible for planning and providing state-of-the-art Cancer care to patients, he was also responsible for training Post graduate students in Oncology. Since retirement, he has worked as a Consulting Oncologist at Hi tech Hospital in Udupi. His areas of special interest in Oncology are, counselling patients on the treatment plans and arranging palliative care. He has undergone extensive training abroad by doing Fellowships in the UK and the US. Having relocated to Chennai, he intends to continue providing unbiased, best advice regarding Cancer care to his patients.
