Dr. M.S. Kalyan Kumar, M.S., FIAGES (Gastro & Endoscopy), FMAS (Laparoscopy) FALS (Hernia, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeries), is a senior consultant in Minimally Invasive & Laparoscopic Surgeries ,Proctology & Advanced Laser surgery. He has 10 years of surgical experience. He finished his MS General Surgery in the prestigious Madras Medical College. He is currently working as Senior Assistant Professor in Institute of General Surgery in Madras Medical College, Chennai with a passion for teaching young surgeons. He has recently been awarded with "Research Vibhushan" award by the ISSN (International Society for Scientific Network Awards) and also has presented various scientific papers in many national & international conferences and has been involved in research work for the last several years. He specialises in Laparoscopic Hernia Surgeries and LASER proctology.He is a member of Hernia Society of India (H.S. I), Chennai Hernia Society (C.H. S),Association of Surgeons of India (A.S. I)
