I had approached Dr.Kenny for my sister who was diagnosed of cancer. The scanning and biopsy results showed she was in the 4th stage breast cancer (metastatic ) . We approached many other oncologists and everyone suggested for immediate surgery. It was in the end that we approached Dr.Kenny who was very polite and patiently explained the gravity of the case and explained the probable treatment. My sister was 59 years old and having body weight of 45 kgs, though the other doctors suggested for immediate surgery, Dr. Kenny asked us to undergo chemotherapy first in order to reduce the size of the tumour and then go for the surgery as my sister was not healthy. After hearing the entire process we found the procedure suggested by Dr.Kenny was more appropriate and we were convinced in going ahead with the treatment in the same hospital (Meridian Hospital) Chennai where he was serving.

Dr. Kenny introduced us to another panel doctor, a medical oncologist and the treatment started. She underwent eight chemotherapy without much hassles after which mastectomy was done by Dr.Kenny, followed by radiation therapy in the same hospital.
