Dear Keerthana mam,

This might sound a little flattering but it's from the bottom of my heart. Right from the start of UG days I've had ideas of wanting to become an OGcian, but right when I stepped into internship I lost the love looking at the toxicity. I've been honestly very scared of OGcians since then and have never encouraged anyone to pursue it too. I myself took another Branch though I got it.

But now looking at you, your care , compassion and empathy , I think it's wonderful, and think OG can be fun, loving .

Right from the start of my pregnancy when it was just me and my husband who randomly searched and walked into your clinic, you had come out of your cabin to see another patient but waved a smiling Hi at us like you've known us forever, since then you've been nothing but a positive gush of energy & love to the little scared mother inside me. Your words and confidence made me very positive throughout my pregnancy. Even through labour,your kindness touched me in many ways. Though the universe had other plans for me,still you chose to fight for me & made my journey beautiful, though the roads were bumpy here and there, you showed up every time.

I've Never seen a consultant show up at 12 midnight, after a personal loss just to see a patient mam. All these things might be little, but it meant the world to me mam.

You're such a good soul for all scared moms out there***️

There are some people who become a part of your life's most precious journey, and for me, the entire team at SRM was exactly that. They weren't just my healthcare providers they became a part of my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum journey, almost like an extended family.

As a first-time mother, I had countless doubts, fears, and questions, but I never once felt judged or rushed. Every member of the team treated me with genuine care, compassion, and respect.

I haven't come across a more dedicated doctor than her. I've been going to her for a while before I found out I was pregnant, and everyday I'm so thankful that I had her as my doctor during pregnancy, labour, and postpartum.

I don't know a single doctor who comes in to the hospital on Sundays just to check in on her patient, no matter the time. For my delivery, she was in hospital on Sunday night, stayed there, and was with me during labour the next day. When I had severe bleeding a few months later, she came to the hospital in the evening to check on me, even though there was an incredibly competent duty doctor looking after me.

What I love about her is the way she adapts to each patient's personality and temperament, and provides them with the type of input and support they need. I'm someone who is obsessed with reading through things and knowing exactly what is happening, and she responded to me in that way without being condescending or rude when answering my questions. She has a sense of humour which makes you feel so comfortable and open, and keeps you going even during tough moments.

She must have delivered 100s of babies by now, but she remembers my baby's name and asks about the baby whenever I see her - that to me, is testament to her dedication and her care for patients.

I consulted keerthana mam until 30th week of my pregnancy, unfortunately couldnt get my delivery done by her since i had to move to a different city. But i am really grateful for all the care and support given by her and her team during those initial stages. Dr. Keerthana is a very friendly and down to earth person. This takes away majoriy of the stress. She is easily approachable and clearly explains our medical condition. Will recommend her definitely for women's healthcare.
