During our consultations, we felt that the doctor’s interaction with the patient was very limited. In our case, most of the examination and discussion were handled by supporting staff, and the doctor himself had minimal direct engagement. This made us uncomfortable, as we expected more personal involvement and explanation, given the seriousness of the condition.
My father underwent spine surgery involving L4–L5 and S1. The total cost charged to us was approximately ₹6 lakhs. Unfortunately, after the surgery, my father did not experience any noticeable reduction in pain. It was good experience with Chennai Apollo for doctor consultation though 90% discussion done with Assistant.
* I did not able to contact doctors assistant after my check up on last 6th Oct18 to know the dose of one tab. Please help me out. No one understood in Kolkata retail medicine stors.
