I underwent a fistula operation and am very satisfied with the overall procedure, including the clear guidance and follow-up care.

After looking at the MRI, he suggested to go for lay open surgery (Fistulotomy).It's been 2.5 months now and I am fully cured and I feel different to live a life without the pain I have had for years. I was suffering from some chronic problem for some time. I have visited many doctors across Chennai and got almost all the tests done for the problem. Each one gave me different diagnosis and antibiotic treatment accordingly. At last, I saw the reviews online and consulted the doctor in his clinic. I would like to share my feedback regarding the treatment I received at Apollo Hospital, Greams Road.

In November last year,2024 I underwent a fistula-in-ano operation at your hospital. After staying there for 10 days, I was discharged and continued follow-up through digital consultations with your doctor. Unfortunately, even after one year, my condition did not improve.

This year, on October 13, I was ********* to undergo the same operation once again due ** *** ********** ** *** ******** ****** * ** ***** ********* **** ***** *** ****** *********

It is also disappointing that neither before nor after the operation did the doctor personally visit me. ********* ****** ** ********** *** ********** **** ******** ** ********** ***** ****** ***** ****** ******* ****** ******** *** ************** I was discharged only at 1:30 a.m., which added to my physical and emotional suffering.

Overall, my experience has been extremely unsatisfactory both in terms of medical care and hospital management. I sincerely request the hospital authorities to review this matter seriously and take necessary steps to ensure that no other patient faces such difficulties in the future.

It wasn't a quite pleasant experience, visiting the doctor.. Had the appointment fixed at 6PM IST, but then have received a call from clinic (at 4PM) to visit at 4:30 PM itself, with the reason stating, doctor would be busy in the evening. Had to rush clinic, but was asked to wait(almost every patient waiting) about an hour, with doctor not being engaged with any of the patients.

The fee being on a higher scale (1000 per patient), which is quite expensive ** ********** **** **** ******* ** ***** the expectation on doctor would on the par level. There wasn't any any check up done, instead taken up the heath grievances from the patient orally and just suggested to come next day again with CT scan reports in hand. The discussion hasn't even lasted for 5 mins to pay 1k with the feel of unwillingness.

Have referred another expert for the same, who has done a thorough checkup, with patient recovering from illness satisfactorily through his medicines, without hefty investments on CT scan.

Altogether, i would never suggest visiting this doctors to friends/family.

My father having piles problem more than 30 years. He was afraid for the surgery. But your friendly approach make him ready for the surgery. Now he is perfectly alright. Thank you for the support to Dr.venkatesh munikrishnan, Dr. Asfer and Madhakani mam (staff in Apollo hospital Greams road).

He just tested the affected area and said nothing to worry and prescribed some medicines.. Will post my condition after taking medicines.. His words give me some hope and he clearly explained that I am completely normal.. I was worrying by studying different things through various websites.. pls stop this behaviour and consult with this doctor.. ***** *** ** ** ** ***

I had a piles operation one year back. I was feeling weird during bowl moment for few days now. so I was scared it has come back. I visited the doctor and he examined and said there is nothing wrong and he did not even give any medicine. I have seen doctors who generally give pills even if there is no issues. He was two friendly and also explained how it happens what to eat to avoid in future. very good experience.

I had LIS surgery done last couple of days back.. He clarify all my doubts patiently. And told how surgery had done at all. He is friendly type also. If any doubts he clarify my doubts thru mail also. And one more thing sister Madhakani is very helpful to patient and give lots of care about my surgery doubts. She is gud person too. Her words also recovery soon.
