Dr. Varun Acharya obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Saveetha Dental College, Chennai. He graduated at the top of his class and was selected as the Outgoing Student on graduation. He pursued his post-graduate education in the United States of America where he completed 4 years of prosthodontic training at the New York University, College of Dentistry where he specialized in dental implants, veneers, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and dentures. At NYU, he was a recipient of the Adisman Award for the most outstanding graduating prosthodontic resident. After New York, he continued his post-graduate education at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where he completed a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Oncologic Dentistry. At MD Anderson, his focus was primarily on the maxillofacial rehabilitation of the cancer survivor. Besides intra-oral prosthetic devices, Dr. Varun also focuses on facial rehabilitation with silicone facial prosthetics.Dr. Varun has presented numerous table clinics and research papers in conferences in India and abroad. His research and scholarly articles have also been published in peer reviewed international journals such as the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the International Journal of Prosthodontics. I knew each dentist varies in his/her skills, techniques and knowledge. That is why I had read hundreds of reviews online, also consulted/visited a number of dentists in various cities before meeting Dr. Varun Acharya, for my troubled front tooth due to dental trauma, with a long and complicated history. Why it took me a good 30 years to finally decide to get a treatment for this, is because I couldn't meet a dentist I could fully trust until I found Acharya Dental.
I find Dr. Varun Acharya and his wonderful team to be very special in many ways. He explains everything you need to know about your dental health condition, problems, its solution, and offer treatment options depending on one's need. Even after that if you have questions (like I did, for hundred reasons), he will listen to you patiently and answer with all his knowledge and experience. I found him extraordinary in a sense he is of course **** ******** experienced, and knows all the latest techniques etc., but also, and this is important, that he is there to discuss with you and decide the treatment from the point of patient. Dr. Varun Acharya will tell you all the treatment options he can offer with such honesty and sincerity. If there is any risk involved, he is ready to share it with you (but it did not necessarily worry me because he has and does everything to make it work.)
I cannot thank Dr. Varun Acharya enough for this very satisfying treatment. In their website it says "Best Dental Clinic in Chennai' but I think that's too humble a statement. I strongly believe Acharya Dental ** *** **** ******* ** ***** *** ***** ** ******** **** ** *** ***** *** **** ******* It is worth visiting even from distance, like I did. Thank you.

The teeth fixing procedure done by Dr. varum Achariya after the excellent implantation done by Dr. vijayalakshmi Achariya is also very excellent.
He is very friendly and gentle in giving treatment. He vividly explained the procedure done. I admire his cordial nature and efficient treatment.

I really appreciated the availability of the Doctor as well as his high professionalism. I started this dental implant fixing in Feb 2019 when I was at this time expatriate in India. In October 2019 I have been transferred to Africa but I came back to Chennai in January 2020 to achieve the treatment. Dr Varun Acharya is excellent. He is very friendly and explains the situation to the patient very clearly and suggests what exactly To be done. Making the patient comfortable is one of the best traits and I am certainly having my family visit Only Acharya’s for our dental visits.
