Dr. V.Shankar Kumar

Dr. V. Shankar Kumar comes from a family of doctors. His father Late Dr. M. S. Venkataraman was a professor of surgery at Madras Medical College. Dr. Shankar Kumar has had extensive training in ENT under the tutelage of Dr. V.Anand (MCV ENT Trust Hospital, Pollachi ) and at the University Hospital, Vienna, Austria.Dr. Shankar Kumar has gained vast experience in his areas of interest during his nine year tenure at Lions Hospital, Chennai, where he has performed over 2000 surgeries. He has participated in the Stanford Otology Course 2010 held by the Stanford School of Medicine, California and has visited the House Ear Institute, Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Shankar Kumar has been awarded the DR. K. S. Sanjivi Award-2008 for his meritorious service in the field ENT Surgery.
