Dr. T. Elangovan received his BDS from Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and trained in oral and maxillofacial pathology at Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Research Institute from 2001 to 2004 earning his MDS from Sri Ramachandra University. Since 2012 I have been consulting him. Last year when I consulted him for tooth pain, he suggested root canal treatment for 50% percent of my teeth. I was confused to take such extensive treatment at this age (I am in seventies). For the above reason coupled with some preoccupation, I postponed the treatment. During the year except one or two occasions I did not have any discomfort with my teeth. Last week, I felt pain and discomfort in two upper teeth after I bit a hard jackfruit chips. Yesterday I went to consult him. He examined the affected teeth and asked me whether to extract or save it. His way of explaining about root canal treatment to save the teeth pushed me to go in for it. Now I am confident that he will restore all my damaged teeth. Thanks.
