Dr. Ashok S Gavaskar

Dr. Ashok S Gavaskar is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive overseas training in joint replacement surgery, sports medicine and complex Orthopedic trauma. He heads the department of Orthopaedics at Dr. Rela institute and medical centre. He was the American academy's International emerging scholar in 2017 and the international scholar in 2014. He is currently the associate editor for the European journal of orthopedic surgery and traumatology and the assistant editor of Indian journal of Orthopaedics. He also serves as an honorary member of the editorial board in many reputed Orthopaedic journals. He has delivered more than 100 guest lectures worldwide. He has published more than 40 original clinical research articles in reputed international journals.
