Dr. Selvi Radhakrishna

Hi,

I am Manidipta Bhattacharjee(son of Mrs. Chhabi Chakraborty)from Agartala. Unfortunately, 3yrs ago, my mother was detected with breast cancer. Then I came to know about Dr. Selvi RadhaKrishna, who is an expert in this domain. Thus without any further ado, I directly came to Chennai and got in touch with her. It was her sincere efforts that saved my mother from such a fatal disease.

At present, my mother is healthy under her routine supervision. Receiving such help from her end is unthinkable. We live far away from Dr. Radhakrishna. But whenever we face any problem, we directly contact her and she provides us with valuable advice. It's like she is always there holding our back.

I am so grateful that I cannot explain Dr. RadhaKrishanna's dedicated works in words. It's beyond one's imagination.

Madam is talking to the patient with concern. Good hearted dr. Very easy to approach and dr explained repeatedly the procedure of operation and recovery.

Whenn the report was infront of me the doctor told that i was almost nearest to that disease soo i became nervous and i started thinking thatt what if i had ghat disease sooi started crying thenn doctor explained me in a friendly way that i am lucky that i did not suffer from that disease....thatt was a great experience for me with the doctor...

My very first experience itself with Chennai Breast Centre was really bad.

I'm totally disappointed & will not recommend Chennai Breast Centre for anyone, for the reasons below 👇

After reading the good reviews about Dr. Selvi Radhakrishna, I called Chennai Breast Centre for an appointment with her. A person from the reception who picked up the phone, said that Dr. Selvi was not available for that week and only Dr. Asha Reddy was available.

So I booked an appointment with Dr. Selvi for the next week ( which was on 25th March 2022 at 8.30 AM )

I went there to Chennai Breast Centre on the day of appointment at 8.30 AM to meet Dr. Selvi for a second opinion.

I was told to wait for my turn by someone at the reception/ front office.

Then someone came and asked for my previous history file and they took the file along with them.

I had to wait for more than 2 and half hours to meet the doctor, while my appointment time was at 8.30 am. 

At around 11 am, I was called to another room to take an ultrasound scan, without me even meeting the doctor yet.

Then after the scan was taken, I was sent to another room to meet another doctor ( Dr. Asha) for consultation instead of

Dr. Selvi, while I had booked an appointment with Dr. Selvi only.

Moreover Dr. Selvi was also available there at the clinic on that day and that time.

After the consultation was over with another doctor (Dr.Asha), I was sent out to the reception to pay the consultation fee for Dr. Selvi, while I had not had my consultation with Dr. Selvi at all.

I told the receptionist there that I have travelled almost 2 hours from my place to Chennai Breast Centre to meet Dr. Selvi.

Also told her that I booked an appointment with Dr. Selvi only, while I was taken over for consultation by another doctor.

Also I had to wait for more than two and half hours at the clinic, beyond my appointment time.

When questioning about these at the reception, the receptionist was rude and said that both Dr. Selvi and Dr. Asha are the same. She wasn't even polite enough to give me a courteous reply or apologise for their mistake to have sent me to another doctor for my consultation without even informing me about the change.

Then I asked the reception why while calling to  book an appointment, she said that last week only Dr. Asha was there and Dr. Selvi was not available. Hence, I  waited for another week to get Dr. Selvi's appointment and still got to meet only Dr. Asha.

 If a patient wants to meet a particular doctor to get their appointment, only that doctor has to meet the patient.

I also asked the person in the reception, why they did not tell me that I was transferred for consultation to another doctor without informing me about the change. To which, the receptionist said that Dr. Selvi has many patients today and hence another doctor is sharing the work load.

Atleast they should have been courteous & polite enough to tell me ahead that I was transferred/shifted to another doctor for my consulation.

I'm totally disappointed with my very first experience there, the rude staff at the reception and the rude replies that were given to me.

I hope they really understand a patient's problem, the struggle and the pains they take to travel from a far away place to their clinic, hoping to see the doctor they have booked an appointment with.

I really wish Dr. Selvi gets to read this.

Waiting for a response from her & her team.

I had a boil on my chest. The doctor checked and explained it's only a skin problem and nothing to worry about cancer. She was very friendly and did not recommended any unwanted tests. I visited on a Saturday even though the wait time is much better compared to other hospitals.

I accompanied my friend for her lump treatment to the doctor. Trust me she have some magic in her treatment. She is very polite and diagnose the disease accurately and gives the treatment accordingly. I highly recommend this doctor. My friend is absolutely fine now. Thanks to the doctor

Doctor is very polite and understands patients well. Does not ask us to take unwanted medical tests.

Not money minded.

Excellent doctor. Never have I felt so comfortable with a doctor. I would definitely recommend her.
