Hoped for better: Treatment satisfaction
Contrary to the feedback shared about the doctor here, * *** * **** **** ********** **** ** ** ****** Has visited him for a back spasm/muscle pull issue.
1) But clearly Dr Kumar was in a hurry and it was evident in the way he didn’t even ask me which part of the pack was the issue . He wouldn’t have spent more than 2 mins, asked two questions, and he immediately sent me for XRay. Not a word about which part is paining or what kind of pain, low long has it been persistent. Nothing!
2) When I came back from the Xray room, he had already seen the report and started writing the prescription of medicines - didn’t have the courtesy to show the report and help me infer it. Another 2 mins it lasted. So for approximately 4 mins he charged + Xray + physiotherapy + blood test - 3700 rupees!
He was already done with the writing the prescription and said X-ray report is normal. And asked me to take physiology therapy, take the tablets, and come back if the pain is still there. I still asked him why this happens frequently, and what could be the reasons - his answers were one liners, and less than a few seconds. Clearly in a hurry and disinterested.
3) I was the last patient for the afternoon, and he was already talking on the phone to someone when I entered the room that he is late and will reach there in a while.
4) The bad part is I still have the same pain, but I don’t have the confidence to see Dr Kumar again. *** ****** ** ** **** ****** *** ***** *** ********** ** ****** ** *** ******** *** **** **** ********** I wouldn’t recommend or endorse this doctor for people who want the doctors to listen to their problems, and then give solutions.
