Dr. Rahul Visvanathan

I took my mother-in-law to Dr. Rahul Visvanathan, and he was very clear and detailed in explaining the treatment. Overall, the experience was excellent.

Dr. Rahul was patient, friendly and made me feel comfortable during the treatment. He clearly articulated the issues and explained each step of the treatment.

Also, his clinic is very neat and welcoming. Not to forget, his team is friendly and helpful too!

Highly recommend Dr. Rahul and Dr. Priyanka for the following reasons:

1/ We are not chennai residents. we had visited 3 famous doctors through references. though we had several visits, the treatment outcomes were not as desired. hence we were lucky to visit dr rahul. Post his diagnostic we realized that the advice we had received from the other doctors was sub optimal. Dr. Rahul' approach is investigative and tries to get to the root cause of the problem. the other doctors had focused on a quick fix solution. the approach of Dr. Rahul therefore though slightly longer, helped in accurate identification and thereby lead to a more accurate mode of treatment.

2/ Another noticeable difference in the approach is as follows. As patients, were rely solely on the drs opinion regarding the course of treatment. regarding my specific issue, the other doctors who used the quick fix method of solution to suggest a rootcanal without adequately explaining me the pros and cons. what i found highly insightful with dr rahul was his method of questioning. on the same problem, when i responded saying a root canal was the best mode of treatment, he followed up with a question regarding whose suggestion prompted this response. was it something i had discovered or been led to believe. we could actually avoid a rootcanal thanks to this approach

3/ his method of explaining the problem in a simple fashion is truly remarkable. While there is use of dental lingo, he always try to make it very simple for understanding. his advice of how to maintain oral care is very useful

4/ Overall, his approach as a doctor is fantastic. The clinic upkeep is phenomenal. Usually it is a given that there will be waiting at a dentist' clinic - this is unlike the situation at his clinic. the attendants call and inform you regarding a 10-20 mins gap many hours prior so that there is negligible waiting time. this is very very thoughful and it shows respect for a patients time. would highly recommend ora and dr rahul and dr priyanka. we wish we had discovered them early.

Dr. Rahul Visvanathan explained my dental issues clearly and treated me based on his diagnosis. He is very experienced and quickly pinpointed the problem.

This was my first visit to Ora Dental Centre. In fact my visit to the dental centre was relating to a tooth filling. Dr Priyanka identified that I had an issue with bone loss and gums and suggested to contact Dr Rahul for addressing the root cause of the problem. Dr Rahul was friendly and made me comfortable during the laser procedure. Which had been ignored during my previous visits to other centres. I am thankful to both Dr Rahul and Dr Priyanka for identifying the issue and giving me the right treatment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rahul for years now and only trust him with any of my dental needs. He patiently explains the issue along with the treatment course he will be taking. Throughout the procedure he checks to see if I’m comfortable and keeps the environment relaxed by playing soothing music. The clinic is extremely hygienic and the staff are efficient and thoughtful. They maintain international standards in their treatments and clinic management. Will only go to Ora Dental for my dental needs!

He is a true professional, and he also has the personal touch. A caring person who wants to ensure minimum pain or inconvenience to the patient. He is very skilled and knows his job. The clinic was spotlessly clean and cool and dust free. During discussions it becomes clear that he is up to date in his knowledge and spends a lot of his personal time in reading, attending webinars and keeping himself abreast of latest developments in his field. I had a great experience at ORA Clinic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The clinic was well maintained and very hygienic.

Dr. Rahul deserves special mention. He went through the procedure and had great attention to detail. He explained the problem and the course of action. Everything was pleasant. I absolutely hate going to a dentist but this experience has changed my mind!
