Ms. R. Vinodhini (Physiotherapist)

I took my wife to her after seeing her neon board mentioning treatment of Bell's Palsy that afflicted my wife some 35 years back that had immobilised a major portion of the left side of her face. The doctor who treated her then said there was no treatment for it and that over years the muscles of the face may relax a little. However, the muscles of the face were immobilised. When I told her my wife's problem she asked to see her. On examining her, she said that she could cure her and that she would try a few sessions of acupuncture & ES. If the muscles respond she would pursue the treatment. The muscles of my wife's face responded to her acupuncture + ES combo that Dr Vinodhini personally administered ending with a gentle facial massage. After about 6-7 months of regular treatment followed by weekly and later fortnightly treatment, my wife's left side face looks similar to the right side. The left side does not look frozen now. One can say that there's 97% cure of Bell's Palsy. Dr Vinodhini is a very competent physiotherapist who has minute understanding of the muscles and nerves functioning and hence knows exactly the places and points where the treatment is to be administered. She is very dedicated to her profession and treats her patients with utmost care. She is a warm, friendly, empathetic person who exudes self confidence in her abilities. The huge crowd that throng her clinic is testimony to her skill and patient friendly approach.

I visited 2 Ortho's earlier for my leg pain which i got due to a small accident.I underwent physiotherapy twice for 2 weeks.I did not see any improvement.Though pain reduced at that point of time, it always re-occured in few days. Dr.Vinodini gave physiotherapy for 15 days. And i received a best suggestion from her and that was to follow regular exercises. She demonstrated all the exercises personally and yes, i see a lot of improvement in me. Am happy that i'm able to keep my leg straight after many months:)

I was looking for some suitable doctor for getting my frozen shoulder treated. After experimenting some ortho attached physiotherapists I chanced upon the Vinus Clinic. From day one I was happy that I was treated methodically and step by step. Though it took more time for getting good results due my age ( I am 72years) I was quite satisfied with the way Doctor Vinodhini approached my case. The clinic is well equipped and handled by enthusiastic and pleasing staff. Dr Vinodhini herself treats the patients in a friendly way to make them comfortable while treating. I had apprehensions about physiotherapy initially but after this experience I am of the opinion that a good physiotherapist is a must for certain muscular conditions. * ** **** ** ********* *** *** ****** ** *** ** *** **** ** **** ********* I wish her all the best.

I felt very stiff when walking and my left shoulder and arm was stiff too. I found it difficult to lift the arm . My walk was robotic and if I needed to turn I was using my whole body to do so. I came in for three weeks and Vinodini treated both my shoukder and neck. She also taught me some specific exercises. Excellent results. I also would like to mention that the personal care and commitment shown is exemplary. I feel good and there is tremendous change in my posture, ease of walking. Thank you.

I went there for scoliosis treatment . I had x ray of my spine then I took 8 months doing stretching exercises in their clinic which is in adyar . First the place was kind of very small , dirty instruments , no cleanliness and too much charging . So even though I went through for exercising. One day I found what ever exercise I did was completely wrong . I had been done . She wasn't even have good knowledge about scoliosis .

Dr. Vinodini is certainly very caring and professional doctor. The consultation charges are quite high. She takes consultation fee in every sitting plus the treatment charges which goes 500+ in every visit. Its certainly not very promising for a patient who needs more than 2-3 sittings for any kind of treatment.

I specifically was searching for a orthopedic physiotherapist as my nature of pain was sports injury and I did not want to consult a general ortho. *** ****** *** **** ************** patient and professional with the whole process of identifying the cause and with treatment.

Good with assessments, approachable , understands and assimilates the patients point of view and judges the post recovery rehabilitation on things that are avoidable quite well. Personally I feel quite satisfied with the treatment and the outcomes. Specifically to Dr R V, thanks for the help

2: Treatment was focussed on solving Insomnia.

3: My sleeping pattern has improved a lot.

4: I would definitely recommend the Doctor for others.

Suggesstions:

1: Perhaps it might be more useful if one of the treatment clinic environment is situated in a place where there is fresh air circulation as this is one of the top problem which I have faced while going for the treatment.

2: It would have been more useful if the Doctor can suggesst additional ways of avoiding stress rather than only focussing just only the treatment so that we can address the root cause of the issue to get permanent resolution.

3: Facilty to accept debit card payments can be considered.

The clinic in Adyar was spacious and clean. Clinic was very ambience and well maintained neatly . Staff was courteous and handled effectively. The tools and the mechanism was good and well maintained. doctor is well professional and understand our illnesses and problem
