My wife was admitted to Prime Indian Hospital, Arumbakkam, under Dr. Kannan after being diagnosed with appendicitis. After discharge, my wife began experiencing severe abdominal pain that was different from her original appendicitis pain. We returned to the same hospital seeking help. Instead of conducting scans or detailed investigations, we were told by the duty doctor that it was merely a minor urinary infection. She was given IV medication and sent home.

Over the next few days, her condition deteriorated rapidly. She suffered persistent vomiting, increasing fever, severe abdominal pain, weakness, and diarrhea. Trusting the medical advice we had received, we returned again and consulted Dr. Kannan. Once again, ******* ******** * **** ** ******* ********** ******** we were assured that this was simply a continuation of the urinary infection and were prescribed additional medication.

Because we trusted the doctors, we followed their advice. My wife even began convincing herself that the pain might be psychological because she was repeatedly told there was nothing seriously wrong.

However, her condition became critical. She spent an entire night vomiting, suffering from severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, and high fever. At that point, we sought a second opinion from another doctor.
