My wife was admitted to Prime Indian Hospital, Arumbakkam, under Dr. Kannan after being diagnosed with appendicitis. We were informed that immediate surgery was required, and she underwent a laparoscopic appendectomy after a significant delay******* ******** *** * ****** *********** *** *********** **************** **********.
After discharge, my wife began experiencing severe abdominal pain that was different from her original appendicitis pain. We returned to the same hospital seeking help. Instead of conducting scans or detailed investigations, we were told by the duty doctor that it was merely a minor urinary infection. She was given IV medication and sent home.
Over the next few days, her condition deteriorated rapidly. She suffered persistent vomiting, increasing fever, severe abdominal pain, weakness, and diarrhea. Trusting the medical advice we had received, we returned again and consulted Dr. Kannan. Once again, ******* ******** * **** ** ******* ********** ******** we were assured that this was simply a continuation of the urinary infection and were prescribed additional medication.
Because we trusted the doctors, we followed their advice. My wife even began convincing herself that the pain might be psychological because she was repeatedly told there was nothing seriously wrong.
However, her condition became critical. She spent an entire night vomiting, suffering from severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, and high fever. At that point, we sought a second opinion from another doctor.

My wife had to undergo a second surgery, endure additional pain, ******* hospitalization, ********* ******* and recovery time—something that might have been avoided had her symptoms been properly investigated when we first returned with clear warning signs.
What concerns us most is not that a complication occurred—medical complications can happen in any hospital. **** ** ************ ** **** ******** ********** ** ****** ***** ********* ****** *** ********* ******** **** ********* ******* *********** ********** ******* ** ************** ******** ************* ******* ** ******** *** ******* ******** *** ** **** ********** ********* **** ******* ******* *** ******

******** ********* ********* ****** ************ *** ********Dear Sir/Madam,
I booked an appointment through the Practo app for a consultation with Dr. R. Kannan at Prime Indian Hospital for my leg treatment. I had already paid the consultation fee through the Practo app while booking the appointment.
However, when I visited the hospital, I was asked to pay the consultation fee again. As a result, I ended up paying the consultation fee twice for the same appointment.
I request you to kindly look into this issue and verify my booking and payment details. Please arrange a refund of the duplicate consultation fee at the earliest.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
Thank you.
