I delivered my baby this Feb 2020 and the journey was quite challenging as mine was a high risk pregnancy. I must thank Dr.Priyanka, the one who was with me through out the journey. I had a stage 4 endometriosis cysts that she operated (Laproscopic) two years back (2018). She immediately suggested to try IVF method for conception as normal conception might not be possible in my case. I was taken back a little and didn’t know what to do. We tried for normal conception for couple of months and a second endometriosis cyst started to grow in the mean while. Later, I again went to Priyanka mam, asking her for help. She then made me understand the significance of taking IVF route. Per her instructions, I went through a complete IVF route which involved few weeks of preparation for egg retrieval, egg retrieval and finally embryo transfer. During this process, the second cyst grew even bigger and got infected as well. This became an obstacle for performing the embryo transfer. Priyanka mam wanted to get rid of the cyst before the embryo transfer, as i already had minimal chances of getting conceived and she didn’t want this cyst to create any trouble. She did another surgery (Laproscopic) for removing the cyst but she was forced to remove my one ovary as the cyst has infected one full ovary (Though she tried her best retain my ovary, but due to the severity of three infection, the ovary itself was removed). Mean while, with the IVF egg retrieval results, I had formed only 2 embryos (out of 11) that were healthy enough for a transfer.
After my surgery, I was under her medication to heal enough so that she could prepare my uterus for pregnancy.
After a couple months, embryo transfer was performed and it turned out to be successful.
Right from Day 1 of pregnancy, Dr. Priyanka mam has taken utmost care in my case. I was on complete home rest until almost 7 months as per her advise as my condition demanded it. Mam was very strict about taking home rest. I followed all her instructions diligently. She exactly knew what plans best suited me. Even with all this complications, she encouraged me to stay positive and gave me so much of confidence and prepared my mind for normal delivery as well. My pregnancy became a beautiful and a memorable journey with her presence and help .
Finally the day arrived during the end of 36th week, where my water broke at 3 AM in the morning and I immediately called Priyanka mam and rushed to the hospital. She was right there at the hospital for me and started preparing things for the delivery. Due to baby’s breech position and others complications I had, mam wanted a safe delivery and performed a C-sec and helped me meet my baby boy.
I take this opportunity to thank Priyanka mam for the care she had given. With all the challenges I had, she was always there and made right decisions for me.
Without you my pregnancy journey is nothing. Thanks Priyanka mam!

My birth story goes like this :
During October, I had spotting for a week or so and were on a look for a doctor. We found a doctor and within two visits she took 2 scans and confirmed that iam not pregnant and gave a medicine to stop the spotting. To my doubtful mind, I was again on a search for a doctor. I was part of a Zumba class and Dr Priyanka too comes there. During a causal chat, she mentioned that she is a gynec and immediately I told my issue and there we started our journey :)
It was confirmed that I am pregnant and the tablets that I took for spotting started to bother me. Dr gave me and my husband complete confidence to continue the journey.
Since our previous pregnancy was a stillbirth at 42 weeks, Dr was very cautious and took care of me well. Every time after the hospital/clinic visit, we come out more positive and happy.
I used to trouble her with my set of issues like - severe back pain and not able to lie down around 22 weeks, poured boiled milk on my legs and thighs around 28th week, fell down once during my 31st week etc.
We had decided to induce around 38 weeks due to the previous history and again doctor gave us assurance that baby will be good and nothing to worry about.
Here comes the D-day
I was a bit worried that even after induction if nothing happens we may end up in c section. I was prepared for that. Also I told my husband, do not opt for epidural seeing me in pain.
Doctor came and induced me around 10.45 in the morning and baby was born at 11.27 at night. The journey was amazing. Each time when I hear the dilation centimeter, my face will droop and I start to stress. It is Dr who cheers me up saying there is a good progress even if it is from 3 to 4 after 5 hours!! That is what you want to hear at that point of time :)
We both played music throughout our labor till the baby was born. She came out listening to Hanuman Chalisa :) I had a immediate skin to skin contact and I breast fed her. My husband cut my daughter's cord.
Thanks to Dr. Without her we wouldn't have got such an amazing experience in a hospital set up.
My birth partner - my husband
He was such an amazing support when it comes to tell you when to breath and to give you massage during your early labor. During your active labor he will be your pillar of support. I was literally jumping out of the bed and he was there to support me like a rock. It is an amazing experience for the husband to see you and understand you. It helps you both to bond multifold.
Thank you Dr Priyanka for all the support:) You are an inspiration.

At 37 yrs of age me and my husband decided to have a baby... Having undergone a complete detox process at Wishing Well Healthcare, within a month I was able to conceive naturally. My pregnancy was a breeze without any morning sickness, water retention, gestational diabetes or bp challenges... However my biggest challenge was facing labour... Especially because I have always had extremely low levels of tolerance towards pain. Dr Priyanka was extremely patient and encouraged me to give natural vaginal delivery a shot... Weighing the post-op challenges of C section as opposed to a vaginal delivery... I also was determined to have a natural vaginal delivery.
My baby decided to start the labour process 17days ahead of the due date... And I was at the hospital undergoing labour which lasted almost 24 hrs. Trust me when I say that I surprised myself when I was able to go through the 24 hrs with a lot more ease than I anticipated it to be... Nature takes over and guides you so beautifully at that moment to face absolutely anything... At the same time I couldn't have done it without a wonderful Dr like Dr Priyanka who spent the entire 24 hrs at the hospital and encouraged me, supported me and guided me all the way to deliver my beautiful baby girl on the 26th of January 2018.
I'm so thankful to Dr Priyanka who insisted till the very end that I have a vaginal delivery...Even when there was a slight complication with my baby's heart rate during labour, Dr Priyanka stood by for over an hour and worked with the baby in the womb to ensure the baby and me were safe. Dr even ensured that I didn't opt for epidural early on so that the dilation process doesn't slow down which couldve otherwise resulted in a C-section. Thanks to Dr I'm thoroughly enjoying motherhood with absolutely no physical complications or post-op challenges.
I would surely encourage new mothers to give natural vaginal delivery a shot...Even for the baby, going through the labour process has a lot of advantages...as nature has meant it to be...
Trust me when I say the intensity of labour pain people as talk about is overrated...and with a lovely Dr. and a good birthing partner it is easily achievable. I had my mother and husband... Was a huge bonus there.
