Dr. Pramod Kumar K P

Dr Pramod has been with Apollo Hospitals since 1995. He started out as an associate consultant, spent two years in Al Khaleej Apollo Clinic in Dubai as a consultant cardiologist, and was back in Apollo Hospital in Chennai as an interventional cardiologist. His key areas of interest are interventional cardiology echocardiography and heart failure management. He has completed more than 7500 interventional cardiac procedures and 1500 transoesophageal echocardiography procedures. In addition to his hectic schedule as a practising medical professional, he has been teaching postgraduate and DNB trainees for over 22 years. Dr Pramod completed his medical studies in Kerala after which he joined UCLA in Los Angeles where he completed his training in CT coronary angio procedures.
