Dr. Patta Radhakrishna

Dr. Patta Radhakrishna was very nice and politely understood my suffering. He explained everything clearly after the examination. I am thankful to him.

This is my first review in practo and feel this feedback is absolutely needed as sims has won my heart in different ways.

The journey with sims to treat my 68 year old father's hernia surgery.

1. After all the research done, Dr. Radhakrishnan Patta had one of the best reviews. It was very much true. Pros - Listens to patient about their issues in minute details. His experience can be felt with his postive approach and so many medals and shields of honors proves it further. A very experienced doctor in the field of gastroenterology and gastro surgeon and a lot of interns can benefit from him with his wife knowledge in the field

2. Dr. Harris from Sims emergency care department, a very good friend and a well wisher who guided me throughout the course of surgery as well

3. Honorable mention is Dr. Asha Rajan in clinical gastroenterology was the ice breaker thoughout the course of surgery. When I was unsure about the process and happenings during the test phase as well as through out the journey at hospital, she really turned everything well with her presence of positivity, confidence in delivery and clarifying the issues. She is best at what she does. Kudos to her patient handling skills.

4. Nurse Sahaya Diwani is another honorable mention. She is a hero in nurse uniform. Helped in taking care of my father, easily handled tedious job, helped in understanding the final summary. Explains multiple times if something is not clear in the final reports as well

5. Finally, how can I miss mentioning security person Mr. Palani, down to earth person who made sure right people are available outside the operation theatre and manages the waiting area well.

6. Lastly, the surgery itself was estimated to be very high, but the final bill was half of what was estimated. Had insurance and it made expense a bit easy. Intial testing and other consulting several other doctors was kind of expensive in the beginning, then realised it was worth it as this hospital makes sure they are always ready for worse

Bottomline - Even if I had few issues in the beginning, some of the above mentioned doctors, nurses and floor staffs foreshadowed the other issues.

It was on 12th of June when I had to visit SIMS due to severe and unbearable abdomen pain . After undergoing a CT scan , I was informed that there was some complication in my stomach even after undergoing a surgery in some other hospital but to my fortune , this time Dr.Patta Radhakrishnan & his commendable squad made sure that they profoundly dealt with this delicate issue . (2nd abdominal surgery)

Further I would like to extend my​ gratitude to Dr.Jaya Priya , Dr.Ashok ,Dr Ashwin and other team members.

Had to get hospitalized for nearly 10 days (being post operative period) , where I was given a royal treatment being it from the side of nursing staff , ward members , dietician etc . Infact , when I was asked to get discharge , I opted to leave next day due to the aristocratic treatment where I felt myself​ like a princess .

This place deserves a perfect 10/10 and beyond.

Last but never the least , my whole hearted thanks to Dr. Suresh Bapu ( renowned Neurologist) who referred me to this place of curement.

In a nutshell , I'll blindfoldedly direct anyone who suffers from gastrointestinal & other stomach related problems , to this expert soul.

The doctor was very polite and friendly. Took his time to understand patient history and problems which not a lot of doctors do. He also very clearly gave explanations for what the issues could be. Highly recommend this doctor!

I had a small bubble in anal area due to heavy travel and sitting for long time and had severe pain while going motion.

I went to a normal doctor intially and they said it needs a surgery. On browing over internet I have then decided to consult a gasteric surgeon.

Then i went to Dr.Radha krishnan and he just gave one oinment **** ***** *** ***** ** * *****.

One of my friends had recommended this Doctor for my Piles complaint. After observation, he has prescribed some tables and ointments and advised to visit three or four days. Despite my taking tablets, the pain was very severe and requested the Doctor for surgery. Doctor has informed to take tablets for some more days to avoid surgery. To my surprise, the swelling got reduced gradually and pain also reduced to the extent possible. I strongly recommend this Doctor.

Dr.Patta Radhakrishna, being the chief, takes time with every patient, explaining them what exactly is the problem, in my case a gal bladder infection which has spread to multiple organs. He makes sure the best possible care is given. Responds to all my questions and also any queries from my family. He operated on my infected gal bladder and I was out of the hospital in a day. Thanks to all the doctors and nurses, who were part of his team, who took care of me.

Nowadays most of the doctors don't have patience to hear or answer the doubts raised by a patient. They mostly rely upon machines and lac the ability of ascertaining the ailment on clinical examination.
