We went for pregnancy check ups, my wife had bleeding and it was left untreated after repeated visits. We also told her about pungent smell. She said it's nothing to worry and kept giving us scans and adviced bed rest. cervical or vaginal examination was not done. It was later revealed to be severe infection and had to be admitted for 3 days to get it treated by another doctor.
