Dr. M. Nandakumaran Graduated from Chengalpattu Medical College, a Government Medical College in Tamil Nadu in 1993.Obtained M.D in Gen. Medicine from Stanley Medical College, Chennai in 1997.Got D.M Cardiology from Madras Medical College, Chennai in 2004.Worked as Assistant Professor of Cardiology in Stanley Medical College from 2004 to 2012. Involved in clinical Cardiology work including noninvasive investigations like Echocardiogram, Transoesophageal Echo, Holter and TMT, Cardiac interventional procedures including Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, Permanent Pacemaker Implantations and Interventions for structural Heart diseases. Assigned post graduate teacher for D.M Cardiology fellows. A life member of Cardiological Society of India.Served as the Executive Committee member of Cardiological Society of India, Chennai Chapter from 2005 to 2008. Served on the organizing committee of Annual Conference of Cardiological Society of India in the years 2008 and 2015.Was a visiting consultant to Apollo hospital, Vijaya Heart Foundation and Billroth Hospitals. Presently attached to Fortis Malar Hospital, Chennai as visiting consultant Interventional Cardiologist. Promoted to Associate Professor of Cardiology in 2012. At present posted to Madras Medical College as Professor of Cardiology.Actively involved in post-graduate teaching and research work.
