Hi, I had left humerus fracture 7 months back. The fracture is healed properly but elbow joint is becoming stiff due to extra bone formation -heterotopic ossification in posterior and medial aspect due to this my range of motion is restricted in between 30 to 90 degree. I did physiotherapy for around 4 months initally. Shall I go for surgery?

Dr. Mani Ramesh answered

No. Continue with physio. Any surgery to the elbow will make it more stiff

You could have a meniscal (knee cushion) tear? You need an MRI of your knee.
